Hi bdesham, I hope I am sending you a comment correctly :) Could you please check out my edit on cellular respiration and see if you think it is acceptable?

Meetup

Your name is on the list at Misplaced Pages:Meetup/NYC for December 12. In case you forgot to check the page, the venue and time have been both been set. We are planning on meeting at the Moonstruck Diner at 1:30pm. Just wanted to let you know. -- Ram-Man ] 23:08, Dec 8, 2004 (UTC)

RFC pages on VfD

Should RFC pages be placed on VfD to be deleted? I'm considering removing Misplaced Pages:Requests for comment/Slrubenstein, Misplaced Pages:Requests for comment/Jwrosenzweig and Misplaced Pages:Requests for comment/John Kenney from WP:VFD. Each of them was listed by CheeseDreams. Your comments on whether I should do this would be appreciated. - Ta bu shi da yu 03:21, 10 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Geneseo, New York

The village and town of Geneseo, New York sure as hell do NOT need to be merged. They are two different entities. As far as clean-up goes, I and some others have worked on it, but apparently someone has a "personal interest" in the region and puts in whatever he likes best, including comments robbed from the official web pages. Stepp-Wulf 05:21, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC).

You are absolutely right about the clean-up needed in Geneseo. I suspect the the original author did not know there were two different places. The problem seems to be in recovering the correct census data. Stepp-Wulf 07:08, 21 Dec 2004 (UTC).

Chopin -- List of works

I don't think including a list such as this is too useful in a composer's article; I think perhaps a summary in prose might be more suitable? What about something like:

Chopin's compositional output consists mainly of piano music; most important among these include his .....

I will move the summary you re-inserted to the top of the list page; I think it's better to be greeted than that then a massive opus list. Tell me what you think... --bleh fu talk fu 05:32, Jan 21, 2005 (UTC)

Spaceship Earth (Disney)

Thanks for adding the actual number of panels. I see this number is widely available online; do you know how many are full and how many are partial? --SPUI 19:10, 25 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Wikipedians who blog

Hi! if you have a moment, could you please see m:Wikinews and blogs to comment? We're interested in learning how Wikinews can work with bloggers; what they might be interested in, how they can take advantage of Wikinews, how they can contribute through their blogs, etc. Thanks! Amgine/

Image:Dining philosophers.png

Thanks for creating Image:Dining philosophers.png. It looks great! I have two requests, however, to fix some technical problems with the image. First, the image of Aristotle comes from Image:Aristotle.jpg, whose copyright status is unknown. If the Aristotle pic is protected by copyright, then your DP pic could be a violation. Could you replace it? And the pics of the other philosophers, could you double-check and make sure they're available under a free license?

Also, your illustration includes both forks and knives. Unfortunately, this defeats the purpose of the illustration. The Dining philosophers problem requires that each philosopher needs two forks, one held in each hand, in order to eat. Could you remove the knives?

Thanks so much, – Quadell 14:35, Feb 10, 2005 (UTC)

Request for review

May I request you to take a look at Tamil language for reviewing? Thanks. -- Sundar 09:15, Feb 14, 2005 (UTC)

Vim folding

i'm trying to add folding to the vim syntax file. But not much success: http://ie.suberic.net/~kevin/vim-wiki/ . i'm still trying to figure it out, but if you have any ideas it would be great.

Proofreading

Hi BD,

Take a look at the current Quarto #2, which is in the mood for final proofreading. You might want to coordinate with Rose while you're at it. +sj + 20:40, 6 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Russian Christmas Music

Enjoyed your article! Band music usually gets no respect... nor coverage. Maybe one of these days I'll get around to finishing concert band. :-) Mindspillage (spill yours?) 04:27, 28 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Grinning at the reference for the Variations... I was at that concert, though that was before the three years I played in the group. :-) Perhaps I ought to start John Barnes Chance... Mindspillage (spill yours?) 01:53, 29 Mar 2005 (UTC)
