On November 2014, it was proposed that this article be moved from Time Warner to TimeWarner. The result of the discussion was not moved. |
WarnerMedia/Discovery, Inc. merger
I suggest that a new page be created, and it should include all the info about the merger between WarnerMedia and Discovery, Inc.. This page should be called Proposed acquisition of WarnerMedia by Discovery, Inc.. AdamDeanHall (talk) 15:56, 23 January 2022 (UTC)
Splitting proposal
Honestly, IMHO Warner Communications and WarnerMedia are pretty different companies because the latter was born after the merger with Time Inc. So the article should be split into two (one on Warner Communications and one on WarnerMedia). In fact, WarnerMedia subsidiares are essentially the same as Time Warner's (HBO, DC, and TBS). What'bout it? 79.16.235.72 (talk) 11:57, 8 January 2023 (UTC)
Company name
I suggest making a link/comment at the beginning of the article to Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc. because WarnerMedia was spun off and merged with Discovery, Inc. on April 8, 2022. That way it would be clearer that the company is now called Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc. 2A02:21B4:14E4:4500:CCEE:728B:D45A:9B1D (talk) 11:55, 29 July 2023 (UTC)
- WBD is a separate entity, and thus Warner Bros. Discovery has its own article. It is linked near the bottom of the lead. InfiniteNexus (talk) 18:01, 29 July 2023 (UTC)
