- Having been through 19 successful requests for GA reviews, my experience is that the reviewers typically ask for 20-50 improvements to the submitted article before approving. Some have asked for a second round of edits after I completed the first round. Secondly, reviewers typically have the experience of having improved and then nominated articles for GA and succeeded in getting to GA before taking on reviewer tasks.
