If you have no objections, I think it would make the AfC team more comfortable if you said so. - A discussion at WP:VPP about revision deletion and oversight for dead names found that
ysops can choose to use revdel if, in their view, it's the right tool for this situation, and they need not default to oversight. But oversight could well be right where there's a particularly high risk to the person. Use your judgment

Notice of noticeboard discussion
There is currently a discussion at Misplaced Pages:Administrators' noticeboard regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is Long-term meatpuppetry by two admins. Thank you. -- Tamzin (she|they|xe) 22:06, 11 September 2023 (UTC)
You are involved in a recently filed request for arbitration. Please review the request at Misplaced Pages:Arbitration/Requests/Case#CorbieVreccan, Mark Ironie, and Tamzin and, if you wish to do so, enter your statement and any other material you wish to submit to the Arbitration Committee. As threaded discussion is not permitted on most arbitration pages, please ensure that you make all comments in your own section only. Additionally, the guide to arbitration and the Arbitration Committee's procedures may be of use.

- Sorry that this has arisen, Corbie. This is absurd, and I hope it is equitably and quickly resolved.I've been slammed IRL so I apologize for not being of any assistance. Yuchitown (talk) 15:27, 13 September 2023 (UTC)Yuchitown
- Corbie, you know you have my support. You are so important to the IPNA project and Indigenous topics on WP. I'm so sorry things that shouldn't have come up have been brought back up and it has potentially placed you or your loved ones in danger. I know that feeling from my own experiences. It's terrifying and stressful. Please, please stay safe. Like Yuchitown has stated, I hope this gets resolved swiftly and equitably. I hate the arbcom process. --ARoseWolf 14:28, 14 September 2023 (UTC)
Really?
Well, now I understand why you've treated me so poorly. But is that really how you want to play it at ArbCom? That I waited 8 years before even touching any of that sock farm's articles (you did notice that before you posted, right?), and then when I did start editing them I removed all the poorly-sourced material that the sock farm had added, and somehow that makes me a banned user? And that I waited 17 years to do the same to Celtic reconstructionism, which I only became aware of during the move discussion (which I chose not to respond to), and which wasn't even on my radar for COI until it got brought up by other editors? Perhaps you should look closer at my edits to those articles. Sure, I was aware of the sock farm; it's part of my process to read the talk pages. But given that my behavior with respect to those articles is the opposite of said farm? That's gonna be a hard sell, I think. Skyerise (talk) 22:19, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
P.S. Before you ask, because I hate seeing good editors shoot themselves in the foot. Skyerise (talk) 22:25, 12 September 2023 (UTC)

Yes, please come back if/when you can. I enjoyed our recent collaboration, but there's still more to do in that area – as in so many others. Best regards, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 09:00, 16 September 2023 (UTC)
I didn't see this before now and my heart sank further. I am torn because I have been in a similar position in the past and had to remove myself from public for a time until it was resolved. But I also know the project, and in particular Indigenous topics on Misplaced Pages, will suffer with you gone. Of course you have to choose your health and the safety of your family but you will be missed, Corbie. I hope you will be able to return one day. It will be sao good to see you again. For now, go in peace and may a song follow you wherever you walk. --ARoseWolf 15:17, 18 September 2023 (UTC)
- @ARoseWolf, I'm confused, why would you write this damning statement on AN? CV & MI are not the only editors here who have shared IPs and engaged in what might appear as coordinated editing. It really sounded like you were calling into question whether they should have access to tools. Please explain, because I'm quite confused by your words and I'm hoping I'm wrong about this.
- I am very concerned for the IPNA project, and share some of Iggy's concerns about Pretendians and well-meaning but naive editors (such as what drove part of this train wreck), and also there are editors out there who want to silence Native voices (and introduce systemic bias.) @CorbieVreccan and @Indigenous girl were some of our strongest and most scholarly voices that we have lost. I am deeply mourning their loss for IPNA and in other areas of their expertise within the encyclopedia. Netherzone (talk) 17:32, 18 September 2023 (UTC)
- Netherzone, it wasn't a damning statement in the slightest. I expressed my concern and shock upon hearing the news that Mark and Corbie shared an IP and the perception that Mark may not have just happened upon that particular discussion I was involved in heavily in which we were having an issue with an editor who claimed to be making copyedits but we felt was changing the meaning of statements in the article. That editor was involved in an edit war which lead to their partial block. At the time I thought Mark (blocking admin) entered the discussion as an uninvolved admin doing patrols, read the discussion, and came to the conclusion that action was needed. I thought it was just a fortunate occurrence. However the connection, at the very least, would make him involved and potentially taint what would otherwise be considered a good partial block. The perception is what was damning, not anything I said. No where did I call for anyone to be stripped of the tools. I can express concern over the perception of that one instance that I was involved in and the integrity, not of the individual editors, but the action taken and who it was that enacted it without necessarily calling for anyone to lose the mop. Accountability among admins is a great concern for the encyclopedia. If the community is to have faith in our admin corps then these things need to be fleshed out. In my opinion, it should have never went to arbcom (You can see my feelings about arbitration here) and this simply could have been resolved with other admin's and the community telling Mark that he needs to be more careful in what situations he takes admin action. Your statement seems to imply that I am somehow to blame for what occurred before and after my statement which is categorically untrue. My comment was not referenced anywhere else and I would have surely spoken up if it had. Please make sure you read the full discussion before making such claims.
- To the situation that brought this about, the only involvement I had was the final statement in that discussion. I had hope that Pingnova would acknowledge the importance of taking care on such topics. I had hoped the choice would be to observe and engage members on IPNA in civil and positive discussion, to learn from members experiences and utilize their knowledge to gain understanding. I saw no acknowledgement and no commitment going forward to do that. Hopefully that changes. But no where did I call for that discussion to be escalated further than the project talk page, certainly not AN, and most definitely not arbcom. I am just as distraught over losing Corbie and Iggy. It is a huge blow to the project. I share the same concerns as you and the others about the project as I have said so many times. --ARoseWolf 15:30, 19 September 2023 (UTC)
