Speedy deletion CSD U5s
Hello, Fastily,
It seems like you delete every CSD-tagged user page as CSD U5 even though they were originally tagged for other problems like G11. I just came across one sandbox that was a total copyright infringement (CSD G12) although it was tagged as spam, CSD G11 so I tried to alter the CSD tag. However, you had already deleted it as a U5. It seems like almost all of the pages tagged for speedy deletion that you delete are changed to be CSD U5 regardless of the original reason they were tagged. Why is this? I support the deletion of these user pages, I just don't know why you alter the reason for deletion. Thank you. Liz 03:05, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
- Hi Liz. I use a self-created tool to help me list and review obvious CSD candidates. WP:CSD#U5 references WP:NOTWEBHOST, which under bullet 5 points to examples of inappropriate user pages. Bottom line is that these are blatantly unacceptable pages which aren't going to be undeleted anytime soon. Sure, I could edit the exact reasons, but that wouldn't change the end result (pages are still deleted). And given the volume of inappropriate user pages (correctly) tagged for CSD, I find it easier to process them as a set. -FASTILY 03:38, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
