Gun safety is a major issue of Weapon handling

Weapon handling refers to regulations regarding work with weapons.

Correct weapon handling include mainly safety issues such as

  • handing overs (firearms: how many sartridges does it contain, is it secured or not? etc.)
  • the way of carrying (e.g. Gun barrel pointing up or down)
  • Safety against unauthorized use
  • locking the trigger when not using a firearm
  • Maintenence etc.
