- Three Israeli civilians are killed and six are injured in a mass shooting in the Givat Shaul neighborhood of Jerusalem. The two Palestinian gunmen are later shot and killed by security forces and an armed civilian at the scene; the armed civilian is mistaken for an attacker and is also shot, later dying in a hospital.
