Tripathi or Tripathy (Sanskrit: त्रिपाठी) is a Hindu Brahmin family name in India and Nepal. Trivedi and Tiwari are variants of the name.Tiwari was consider to know 3 veds including atharv ved Sam ved and yajurved. They were master in all sorts of fighting skils and were having a mastery in using all the weapons. They teach these things to their decedents and students.They were having a excellent knowledge of Upanishads and they were great devotees of Lord shiv and goddess kali.
