Nasser Pourpirar, (Persian: ناصر پورپیرار) formerly known as Naser Bana-Konanadeh, is an Iranian Historian of Arab origin. Questioning the reliability of current version of history of Iran from Achaemenids to Safavids, Pourpirar is well known for his controversial, often clearly revisionist, theories. He is also accused of being antagonistic Persian history and civilisation. He is a strong supporter of current President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.. His education background is unknown.
Earlier in his life, Pourpirar was closely involved with the Tudeh Party of Iran (Iranian Communist Party), which had close relations with the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. After the 1979 Revolution, he joined with the revolutionaries. According to Alireza Nurizadeh, a renowned Iranian journalist based in the UK, Naser Pourpirar was an interrogator with the Islamic Revolutionary Courts before proclaiming himself as a scholar and historian.
Historical revisionist and alleged Anti-Semitic/anti-Persian views of Pourpirar
Much of Pourpirar's claim is related to the event of purim. He believes that after the great genocide commited by Jews in purim, the land of Iran was completely wiped out of human beings until the beginning of Islam
Pourpirar also believes that Purim was commited by the Achaemenid King Darius, and that Behistun relics indeed reflect the genocide of indigenous civilised Pre-Achaemenid Iranians. He claims that building of Persepolis never was finished and Achaemenid dynasty ended with Darius the Great and that the rest of the Achaemenid, Parthian, Sassanid, Seljuqid, and Samanid dynasties were fabricated by Zionists as part of an ancient Jewish conspiracy.. One of the reasons that he cites for this claim is that unlike other places such as Syria, Lebanon, Anatolia or China where one can find numerous historic relics indicating existence of civiliastions, there is no single relics such as ancient cities, ruins, or any historic relics that indicates existence of a civilised life in Iranian plateau during the period of Achaemenids to Safavids. He also believes that historical personalities such as Mazdak, Mani, Zoroaster, Babak, Abu Moslem, Abu Hanifa, and Salman the Persian were also invented by modern Zionist historians.
Pourpirar in 2005 claimed: Since the time of Purim till the second century of the Islamic era, whatever archeological finds that are discovered throughout the middle east are either before Purim or after the second century of Islam
On the other hand in 2007 he furthered his claim:So everyone should know that the builders of the false historical and social lies of the last two thousand years between Purim till the Safavids were the Jews. They wanted to hide their genocide and thus used lies by fabricating history.
Pourpirar believes that most of modern Iranians gradually immigrated from sourrounding regions of Iranian plateau to modern Iran during the first centuries of Islam. He thinks that Arab tribes likely are descendants of Semitic Mesopotamian survivors who fled Purim incident. Yusuf Bani Torof quotes Pourpirar as a reliable historian, for the claim that Arabs are indigenous to Khuzestan and predate the arrival of Aryans. This claim has been used by groups such as the London-based British Ahwazi Friendship Society to claim that Persians conquered Khuzestan province from Arabs in 1925, and that previous to this date, Khuzestan was entirely Arab since ancient times.
Regarding the Persian language, he has stated that: "It is very unfortunate that we can not put the Persian language aside and replace it with the language of Koran. However the future of Iran is at the hand of Islamic Unity. Spreading Arabic language among Iranian youths and incorporating it more seriously into the education system can make a foundation for such Islamic Unity."
Pourpirar has reportedly praised Saddam Hussein and refered to him as the "Great Arab hero" and the "symbol of resistance

taken from http://www.naria.blogfa.com/85084.aspx
