Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh, India
Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency (colloquially Varanasi ; Template:Lang-hi ) is one of the 80 Lok Sabha (parliamentary ) constituencies in the Uttar Pradesh state in north India . Narendra Modi has been thrice elected from this constituency to become the prime minister of India . His party, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), is the most successful in Varanasi, winning a total of 8 terms since the constituency was established in 1952.
