Ruling on "Pseudoscience"

The Arbitration Committee has issued several rulings on guidelines for the presentation of material that might be labeled "pseudoscience". Relevant to this article:

  • Questionable science: Theories which have a substantial following, such as psychoanalysis, but which some critics allege to be pseudoscience, may contain information to that effect, but generally should not be so characterized.

Peer feedback:
- Great job updating/adding citations & clarifying existing sections of the article
- Could consider adding how modern psychotherapy & psychiatry interact in treatment section
- Could consider adding more up-to-date perspectives on the effectiveness of psychotherapy, it seems like the most current cited research is from 2012/2013 The-GOAT-of-GOATs (talk) 18:24, 9 December 2023 (UTC)

- Complete work plan draft - Read through article thoroughly and note references that are not secondary for editing. - Identify key missing details in article then add from secondary references cited

Week 2-3:

- Make sure links for citations in article work - Identify sources that are biased and mark for editing - Continue to identify key missing details from article and add from secondary sources cited - Peer editing Class Teams meeting Work in progress Wed 12/6

Week 3-4:

- Review language used and ensure doctor jargon has not been used - Compare article with secondary source – are there viewpoints/sub-topics that are overemphasized/underemphasized? - Ensure that wiki links to other pages have B grading or higher - Continue Peer editing. Week 4 (Final week):
