Jellybeans

You have been awarded these Jelly Beans from -The Doctor- Please, enjoy them.

Here are some Jelly beans for you. I love jelly beans as they have sugar in them and most people love sugar. But on the other hand just receiving somthing from somone else just makes you happy and also just giving this to you makes me happy. I hope to spread the jelly beans all over Misplaced Pages, so here, you can have this lot. Please enjoy them. (I like the lime ones.)

Editors need a bit of a sugar high too.

An apple a day keeps -The Doctor- away. Or does it! 02:20, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

Re: RfA

As in a nomination, or as in mentoring? ;) – Luna Santin (talk) 19:41, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

I'll need a minute, but let me get working on a nom statement. Anything in particular you'd like me to cover or mention? And, of course, when would you like me to post (I get the impression the answer to that is "tonight," but thought I should ask :p ). – Luna Santin (talk) 04:08, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
Ahh, I see -- I don't usually keep too close a watch on RfA. I know RfBs have been locked tight, in the aftermath of all that. Last time I was at WP:BN it seemed most of the RfAs open at the time were doing pretty well. Hm, well, as far as mentoring, I've gotta be honest and say I'm not too sure how practical it is, heh. A lot of the stuff I go after is mostly busy-work -- revert a few people here, block a few vandals at WP:AIV, check out some unblock requests at CAT:RFU, keep WP:RFCU in good working order. But, if you can figure some way that my feedback would be useful, I'll be happy to provide thoughts and such as I'm able. And, when you're ready, a nomination (if you'd rather find somebody else, no problem for me; no idea if having the same nominator twice is a good or bad thing; either way, the offer's on the table). – Luna Santin (talk) 04:21, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
I've never been too sure about the path to adminship -- I like to think most anybody can get there, as long as they stick around for awhile. In general, though, I think people look for things including dedication to the project, a level head in disputes, article writing, counter-vandalism, knowledge of policy, participation in policy and deletion discussions, and that sort of thing. If you help out at WP:AN and its sub-pages, you'll probably have a higher profile among the people who watch RfA. Name recognition helps, I think, but it isn't everything. People do seem to like diverse candidates who've contributed in a number of areas. But especially that level-headed, helpful attitude. Something like that; I wouldn't call myself an expert here. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Luna Santin (talkcontribs) 04:37, 9 March 2007 (UTC).

Hey, holidays for you is it? If you are back editing could you please take a look at Waisale Serevi and give it a copy-edit? I think it's close to FA now. If not let me know. Thanks! - Shudda 07:03, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

Scotch College References

Im just enquiring about the references on the Scotch College, Perth article - references 8-13 are of the same book, with no page marks. I dont see a problem with 5-7 because they state page numbers. But why do you have 6 references for the same book, with no changes in the title (to include page numbers) Twenty Years 02:38, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

Because I did those references when I was new and I didn't know you should include a page number. I went back trying to find the pages recently but can't really be bother fixing it as I have left the college.--HamedogTalk| 03:55, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
Ok, thanks for the info - Twenty Years 04:35, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
