The village was once dubbed by the Salford Advertiser as the "car-fire capital of Salford", for its very high rate of car fires in 2001.

Daz G - prolific weed smoker, known to put avery small amount of cannabis in his joints. He also has a rather dubious beard. Anrearse - known to viciously beat Daz G (above) around the head.
