It will be televised by FOX, with Joe Buck and Tim McCarver scheduled to be the booth announcers. This year's event will mark the first Fall Classic to start on a Tuesday since the Cincinnati Reds defeated the Oakland Athletics 7-0 at Riverfront Stadium on October 16, 1990.
