The Baseball Channel is the tentative name for Major League Baseball's planned television channel, devoted solely to baseball. It is scheduled to begin broadcasting in 2009.

As part of the negotiations surrounding the MLB Extra Innings TV package, both DirecTV and In Demand (owned by a consortium of major cable companies) were granted partial ownership in the planned network.
