Leveling Seats

There's no mention of the Icelandic Leveling seat in this article. And if I read this source correctly then Iceland have 9 leveling seats. That should be mentioned somewhere.

Open List, Closed List

On this page it says that Icelandic parliamentary voting is Closed List, but I believe it is Open List, a voter can cross out or rearrange as they see fit. Further, you can see here under Electoral system it is even called Open List .

Going by the definition in the opening paragraph of open list, then Iceland does have an open list as voters can theoretically influence who gets elected from a list, even if this rarely happens in practice. This is of course something to clarify in this article. Bjarki (talk) 18:38, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
