Submission declined on 8 December 2024 by Bobby Cohn (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Misplaced Pages article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Misplaced Pages.

  • Comment: Possibly WP:TOOSOON as an unreleased album, I'm not seeing significant coverage of the album that isn't WP:CHURNALISM. Some coverage of the single but of course this notability would be NOTINHERITED. Bobby Cohn (talk) 23:36, 8 December 2024 (UTC)

Its scheduled release follows nearly 6 years after their previous album Atonement, making it the longest gap between studio album's in the band's career.

Background

In March 2024, the band's guitarist Joel Stroetzel stated that "We just finished all the final bits of tracking over the last couple of weeks. So the guitars are done, all the vocals are now done. Everything's there." On November 5th, the band revealed the artwork for the album and shared "11/20/24. New music coming. Mark your calendars." The first single from the album, "Forever Aligned", was released on November 20th.
