Editors who repeatedly or seriously fail to adhere to the purpose of Misplaced Pages, any expected standards of behaviour, or any normal editorial process may be sanctioned.

Remedy instructions and exemptions

Enforcement procedures:

  • Violations of any restrictions (excluding 1RR/reverting violations) and other conduct issues should be reported to the administrators' incidents noticeboard. Violations of revert restrictions should be reported to the administrators' edit warring noticeboard.
  • Editors who violate any listed restrictions may be blocked by any uninvolved administrator, even on a first offense.
  • An editor must be aware before they can be sanctioned.

With respect to any reverting restrictions:

  • Edits made solely to enforce any clearly established consensus are exempt from all edit-warring restrictions. In order to be considered "clearly established" the consensus must be proven by prior talk-page discussion.
  • Edits made which remove or otherwise change any material placed by clearly established consensus, without first obtaining consensus to do so, may be treated in the same manner as clear vandalism.
  • Clear vandalism of any origin may be reverted without restriction.
  • Reverts of edits made by anonymous (IP) editors that are not vandalism are exempt from the 1RR but are subject to the usual rules on edit warring. If you are in doubt, contact an administrator for assistance.

If you are unsure if your edit is appropriate, discuss it here on this talk page first. Remember: When in doubt, don't revert!

Slogan

I have made changes to what the slogan says in the infobox to have consistency with the infobox on Slogan of the Houthi movement.

I left this message as a courtesy.

Thanks,

Source 87 does not indicate that Malaysia considers the Houthi movement a terrorist group

Militan Houthi is listed in the entity section at number 26 on the archived version of the page. The date on the archived version is 31 May 2019. I have not been able to access the current listing to see if this has since changed. Burrobert (talk) 14:17, 29 September 2024 (UTC)

The map of "The September 2023 political and military control in the Yemeni Civil War (2014–present)" has an incomplete legend

The map shown at the start of the "History" section has six colors: the four colors in the legend, a blue region in the southwest region of Yemen, and an orange one more to the east– the blue and orange regions do not have corresponding sections in the legend. The "More Details" for the image which leads to its Wikimedia page shows that the blue region corresponds to "Tareq Saleh's National Resistance Forces" and orange represents "Hadrami Elite Forces." That page shows the correct number of items in the legend.

The legend here should be edited to correctly reflect all data/colors in the map. Bamiel1 (talk) 16:56, 29 September 2024 (UTC)

Hezbollah and Iran are staunch allies of Houthi, they denied supplying weapons not being allies. 2A0A:EF40:E9E:CB01:7147:B834:1351:9C58 (talk) 16:18, 4 October 2024 (UTC)

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Cannolis (talk) 17:10, 4 October 2024 (UTC)

China

China needs to be removed from the “opponents” list, as the source merely says they are deploying ships to protect their commercial vessels. This has nothing to do with their own opinions on the Houthis. In fact, the same source says that Chinese merchants are telling Houthis that they are Chinese ships, implying that Houthis are deliberately not attacking Chinese ships. 141.154.49.21 (talk) 04:41, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
