Cheyney C. Ryan (born 1948) is an American philosopher and Emeritus Professor of Philosophy and Law at the University of Oregon. He is known for his works on nonviolence, pacifism, and the critique of just war theory. Ryan is a wnnier of the Joseph J. Blau Prize from the Society for Advancement of American Philosophy.
