Suspected sockpuppets

Sock farm dedicated to promote ChalermKwansatree/Chalermkwansatree/Chalermkwan Satri school (sound the same to me), and usually accompanied by a draft of a person attending the school that is being promoted.

Jimfbleak has blocked most of them, but we really need to check for any sleepers. 🔥YesI'mOnFire🔥 13:22, 21 December 2024 (UTC)

  • I'm working on this, and there's a lot of accounts - but the tenor of the content additions suggest a misguided class assignment rather than a knowing attempt to disrupt. @YesI'mOnFire and Jimfbleak: has an attempt been made to communicate with any of these? • The accounts above are all  Confirmed to the same source; they are all using the same small set of IPs and devices within minutes of each other. My best guess is that this is a class of high-school students asked to write about themselves and their school. Obviously, this isn't appropriate, and given that we already have an article about the school, I'm not sure what this is supposed to achieve. The final account in the list has more experience (~200 edits) and perhaps there is a profitable dialogue to be had there. My immediate concern is with ensuring we don't unnecessarily preserve autobiographies of highschoolers. I have already deleted and suppressed a good many pages, and I will work through the rest, but I may not be able to finish today. Noting in case someone else comes along.
