Lewis Eugene Gilbert II was an American serial killer responsible for a total of four murders committed in 1994 across three different states in the U.S.. Gilbert's first murder happened in Ohio, when he broke into the home of 79-year-old Ruth Lucille Loader on August 30, 1994, and killed her.
