Entries on notable African American subjects trapped in Draftspace

I would be glad to have help with:

Michael Eric Dyson

Hello there. I am editing regarding the article on Michael Eric Dyson. I noticed some trivia about Dyson and Nancy Mace that was not sourced well, so I removed it. It was added back in with some more questionable sourcing - a Mediaite article and a youtube video. I think that according to Misplaced Pages policy, both of those sources are problematic, especially when no one else is reporting on the Mace/Dyson alleged interaction. I think it's too trivial to include in an encyclopedia. Please look for yourself, thank you. Oliver Phile (talk) 16:58, 27 September 2024 (UTC)

Hmm. I looked at what you removed, and I would say the removal is justified, per WP:BLPGOSSIP and WP:GRAPEVINE, at the very minimum. Historyday01 (talk) 22:31, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
@Oliver Phile, thank you for clearing that mess. Would you also fancy finding sources to fill the {{citation needed}} tags? Safari Scribe 21:25, 29 September 2024 (UTC)

David Lammy

There is a current RFC at Talk:David Lammy#RfC: First sentence which is discussing how the subject should be described. Editors are invited to participate. TarnishedPath 14:28, 15 October 2024 (UTC)

African and African-American studies biographies

I’ve started a list of professors of African and African-American studies who have named chairs at major US universities, and so are presumptively notable under WP:NACADEMIC, criteria 5, but don’t yet have WP entries. If anyone is looking for topics to write on, you’re warmly welcomed to take anything that interests you from my list. Happy editing, Innisfree987 (talk) 08:29, 24 December 2024 (UTC)
