Mazdaism, In Armenian ( Մազդէականութիւն ) a widespread name for religions that arose in western Iran, Afghanistan, and Central Asia beginning in the early centuries of the first millennium.Unlike Zoroastrianism, in Mazdaism Ahura Mazda is one of the gods, equal to Mithra.

The northern branch of Mazdaism is known in modern historical studies as Turanism.
