Girls of Summer is a 1956 American play by N. Richard Nash.
Premise
A single woman afraid of sex is confronted when her sister visits with her boyfriend.
History
The original Broadway production was directed by Jack Garfein and produced by Cheryl Chrawford starring Shelley Winters, Arthur Storch, Pat Hingle and George Peppard, plus a title song by Stephen Sondheim. This reached Broadway in November.
It had only a short run.
Variety wrote the play has "flashy scenes, frustrating moments and a generally confused state. It may have a fair engagement.
