Pino Montano is a suburb of Seville located north of the SE-30 that is part of the North District of Seville.
At first, the place where Pino Montano is located was an agricultural area of olive groves where the land was divided and distributed in farmhouses. In the second half of the 19th century, a railway was built to connect Seville with Cordoba, thus delimiting an area intended for cultivation and another for housing construction. Pino Montano was made in the decade of developmentism in Spain (1960s), when Seville began a rapid and disorderly expansion towards the north. Since the moment the first people settled in the neighbourhood, around 1970, it has not stopped growing.
