Prof. Jawaid Iqbal Vice Chancellor Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University

Prof. Jawaid Iqbal is the Vice Chancellor at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Jammu and Kashmir. He is Professor at Department of West Asian Studies at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).

Iqbal is an academician and researcher with over three decades of academic and administrative experience, and an expert in the field of International Relations. He has held various positions at AMU including incharge Vice Chancellor AMU, Dean of the Faculty of International Studies, and chairman of various other departments of the university. He has also been a member of the AMU court, Academic Council and Executive Council of the university. Iqbal received his MPhil and Phd from Jawaharlal Nehru University Delhi.
