Jawaid Iqbal is an Indian academic who serves as the Vice Chancellor of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University. He is a Professor of West Asian atudies at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).

Iqbal has held several administrative positions at AMU, including Dean of the Faculty of International Studies and chairman of various departments. He specialises in international relations.
