Kevin Ratajczak (born August 7, 1985) is a German metalcore singer/songwriter and keyboardist . He is a founding member and the unclean vocalist of the metalcore band Electric Callboy.
History
As a child, Kevin's experience with harder music derived from listening to Deep Purple albums his father possessed. In 2020, he helped form Electric Callboy, under the original name, 'Eskimo Callboy', in Castrop-Rauxel, North Rhine-Westphalia, alongside fellow singer and clean vocalist Sebastian "Sushi" Biesler, lead guitarist Daniel "Danskimo" Haniß, bassist Daniel Klossek, drummer Michael Malitzki, and rhythm guitarist Pascal Schillo. In 2020, Biesler left the band and Ratajczak teamed up with newcomer clean vocalist Nico Sallach as the duo for the band. In 2021, he hosted the Oberkante Unterlippe podcast alongside Sallach, which was broadcast in the night program on Rock Antenne.
Personal Life
Kevin Ratajczak is married and has two children. He is of Polish descent.
Style
Kevin Ratajczak provides the voice grinding (or unclean vocals) for Electric Callboy. He writes most of the lyrics along with fellow frontman Nico Sallach. They even submitted their song "Pump It" as their song in order to represent Germany for the 2022 Eurovision competition but was ultimately denied. Ratajczak considered Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco as a role model and his favorite concert involved Slipknot on the "Iowa" tour 2003 in which he was in attendance at the Grugahalle in Essen.
