To report an error in content currently or imminently on the Main Page, use the appropriate section below.
Main Page toolbox- Protected pages

- Purge the Main Page
- Purge this page
- Where is the error? An exact quotation of the text in question helps.
- Offer a correction if possible.
- References are helpful, especially when reporting an obscure factual or grammatical error.
- Time zones. The Main Page runs on Coordinated Universal Time (UTC, currently 13:59 on 10 January 2025) and is not adjusted to your local time zone.
- Can you resolve the problem yourself? If the error lies primarily in the content of an article linked from the Main Page, fix the problem there before reporting it here. Text on the Main Page generally defers to the articles with bolded links. Upcoming content on the Main Page is usually only protected from editing beginning 24 hours before its scheduled appearance. Before that period, you can be bold and fix any issues yourself.
- Do not use {{edit fully-protected}} on this page, which will not get a faster response. It is unnecessary, because this page is not protected, and causes display problems because this is not a talk page. (See the bottom of this revision for an example.)
- No chit-chat. Lengthy discussions should be moved to a suitable location elsewhere, such as the talk page of the relevant article or project.
- Respect other editors. Another user wrote the text you want changed, or reported an issue they see in something you wrote. Everyone's goal should be producing the best Main Page possible. The compressed time frame of the Main Page means sometimes action must be taken before there has been time for everyone to comment. Be civil to fellow users.
- Reports are removed when resolved. Once an error has been addressed or determined not to be an error, or the item has been rotated off the Main Page, the report will be removed from this page. Check the revision history for a record of any discussion or action taken; no archives are kept.

Errors with "In the news"
- In the "Romania and Bulgaria become full members of the Schengen Area." blurb, we should probably add wikilinks to "Romania" and "Bulgaria" for the sake of clarity for readers that might not be familiar with these countries, per NativeForeigner's original comment on ITN candidates. 31.44.227.152 (talk) 01:38, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- Schwede66 had originally posted with links, saying "I assume that in this context, it is ok to wikilink countries" . BorgQueen delinked them. —Bagumba (talk) 02:58, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Bagumba you're welcome to revert if you think the links are needed. BorgQueen (talk) 03:04, 5 January 2025 (UTC)

- "... that the military glider Tsybin Ts-25 was considered for use as a civilian airliner on routes including Moscow?" - Moscow isn't a route, it's a place. I'm not really sure what this is trying to say. Normally when I see something like this, I assume it's jargon I'm not familiar with, but I follow aviation news and this isn't something I'm used to seeing. Pinging User:The Bushranger.Jay8g 23:06, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Jay8g: The original source said "routes between" and in rewriting it probably could have been clearer. Maybe for the hook "routes that included Moscow" might be better? - The Bushranger One ping only 23:14, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
- Maybe it would read better if an actual route was listed ("on routes including Moscow-"), or maybe "routes from Moscow"? I don't know, but "routes that included Moscow" still sounds like it's saying Moscow is a route. Jay8g 23:25, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
- To me it sounds fine, but perhaps "routes including Moscow to Gorki"? - The Bushranger One ping only 23:38, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
- I've copy edited it for it to read "routes including to Moscow". I hope that resolved it. Schwede66 23:48, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
- Works for me. Jay8g 23:52, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
- What about routes from Moscow though? Stephen 23:54, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
- I considered adding "to and from" but thought that it would be obvious enough that travel would be in both directions. Happy for you (or anyone) to change it, though. Schwede66 02:51, 5 January 2025 (UTC)

1725 entry: Needs to be changed to past tense, and needs a bold link (presumably Liebster Immanuel, Herzog der Frommen, BWV 123). Pinging User:Gerda Arendt. Jay8g 00:27, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- Also, I think we can omit the BWV number from the blurb, since it's liable to be confusing for uninformed readers. — RAVENPVFF · talk · 01:07, 5 January 2025 (UTC)

- Holger Drachmann photograph - We don't know the date of the photograph (it would be a guess to say it was taken in the fortnight before his death) so "This portrait photograph of Drachmann was taken in 1908" should probably read 'This portrait photograph of Drachmann was taken by 1908' per the image page. - Done, thanks for catching that. --Floquenbeam (talk) 02:40, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
