OccupationPornographic actress

Lily Phillips (born 23 July 2001) is a British pornographic actress. Born in Derbyshire, she dropped out of the University of Sheffield to work in the pornography industry, and uploaded to OnlyFans a gang bang in which she had sex with 101 men on 19 October 2024. She then announced plans to have sex with 1,000 men in one day. Both attracted widespread attention after Josh Pieters, who had accompanied her throughout, uploaded I Slept With 100 Men In One Day to his YouTube account; most of the backlash was directed at her, though some commentators criticised OnlyFans and the men.

Life and career

Phillips was born in Derbyshire, England, on 23 July 2001. She attended the University of Sheffield, but dropped out to work in the pornography industry. After finding that both sexual images and sex were not drawing sufficient income to her OnlyFans account, she mounted a competition in which the winner got to have sex with her and began filming custom videos and taking fans' phone calls. She subsequently released a gang bang in which she had sex with 101 men on 19 October 2024. Josh Pieters accompanied her throughout. For the video, Phillips recruited men by offering sex to any man who completed an application form and took an STI test, with 200 booked. The video was filmed in an Airbnb in an expensive part of London popular with young children, with both Phillips and the landlord reviewing each other positively, and a security guard was hired for the occasion. On 5 November, she stated that she planned to become the first woman to have sex with 1,000 men in a day and that she intended to have sex with 300 men on 15 December. The former would beat the world record of 919 set by Lisa Sparxxx [simple] in 2004.

On 7 December, Pieters published a documentary of the project to his YouTube channel, I Slept With 100 Men In One Day. The documentary, in which Phillips stated that pornography was empowering on the grounds that men would sexualize her either way, showed the preparation carried out for the event and featured a scene in which Phillips did not appear to know that HIV could be transmitted orally, a scene in which the cameraman retched after attempting to film a room full of used condoms, and ended with a tearful Phillips stating that she had disassociated thirty men in. I Slept With 100 Men In One Day was safe for work, even going so far as to blur sex toys and bleep words indicating sexual intercourse, and was 47 minutes long. The men who had sex with her were not named in the video.

Shortly after release, the video went viral; by 19 December, the video and posts discussing it on Twitter and TikTok had received several million views. The reaction to Phillips' stunt was described as that of "concern, derision, and curiosity" by Charley Ross of Grazia, who also noted that much of the backlash was directed at Phillips rather than the men who had sex with her. Some called for OnlyFans to be shut down, while others argued that she was a victim of the patriarchy. The video came in for criticism from American conservative pundits Ben Shapiro, who wrote that Phillips had "made herself into a sex robot" whose soul was stained, and Matt Walsh, who also criticised Phillips. Theo Hobson of The Spectator and Brendan O'Neill both attributed fear, while Sarah Ditum of The Times, Tanya Gold, and Julie Bindel all compared the men who had sex with her to those queuing to rape Gisèle Pelicot. Gold also wrote that Phillips was "not very bright and will soon not be very well". On the other hand, Christian influencer Russell Brand expressed empathy towards Phillips and described 100 Men as an attempt to "defibrillate divinity down here on the lower levels", while Sarah Fletcher of The Critic described her as a "Rorschach test for contemporary sexual culture" and discussed her experiences in relation to radical feminism and rape, specifically criticising comparisons to Pelicot.

In a later interview, Phillips attributed her tears to men shaming her for not allowing them to orgasm, even though none of them had made her do so, and expressed regret for not resting between sex and fielding questions. She also stated that for her 1,000 men challenge, she would be allowing men to penetrate her once only and would be instituting rapid HIV testing, and encouraged those direct messaging her expressing concern to redirect their energy into supporting "someone who was an actual victim". Later that month, it was reported that the event violated multiple Airbnb policies.

Personal life and artistry

Phillips has asserted that she is a feminist and criticised "feminist ladies" who rebuke her and say that her actions are not empowering. Her social media vlogs have included her dog, meals she eats, and other aspects of her daily routine. Helen Lewis of The Atlantic described Phillips's aesthetic as "that of the girl next door rather than a cartoonishly inflated adult performer".
