The 2024-25 Cal Poly Mustangs women's basketball team represents California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo during the 2024-25 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Mustangs, are led by third-year head coach Shanele Stires, playing their home games at the Mott Athletics Center in San Luis Obispo, California, as a member of the Big West Conference.

Previous season

The Mustangs finished the 2023-24 season 17-14, 13-7 in Big West play, to finish in a 3-way tie for 3rd place. As the 4th seed in the Big West Tournament, they would be defeated by 5th seed UC Davis in the Quarterfinals. They would be selected to play in the WNIT Tournament, where they would lose to Pacific in the 1st Round ending their season all together.
