Boucaut railway station was located on the Hamley Bridge-Gladstone railway line. It was located in the town of Koolunga, South Australia.
History
The railway line was extended from Blyth to Gladstone on 2 July 1894. When the line opened, there was no station or siding located in Bocaut, originally called Koolunga Siding although some work had already been done there like the ballast and rails.
On 8 September 1906, a public meeting was held at the Koolunga Institute Hall discussing the viability to build a railway line from a point on the Gladstone line near Brinkworth or Koolunga Siding via Koolunga, Redhill & Clements Gap to Port Broughton although nothing was ever achieved.
On 12 April 1917, the name of Koolunga Siding was changed to Boucaut. On August 1927, the line through Boucaut was converted from narrow gauge to broad gauge.
On 1 October 1964, Boucaut was closed to all traffic.
