• On the use of primary sources in a socio-political article whose topic is literally a controversy There is a dispute on the best use of primary sources. Would like comments from wikipedians, ideally from people who are disinterested with regard to the creation-evolution controversy. An ancillary point regarding the use of primary sources is the inherant POV they sometimes bring (e.g., the article becomes an extension of the controversy instead of a description of the controversy) or that the article sometimes leans toward attempting to decide the controversy. • English-speaking Quebecer A user is insisting on a strictly speaking accurate, though likely misleading, introduction and infobox so as to exaggerate the size of the English-speaking community. Many of his other edits to the page are questionable. Comment is requested on the specific content issues raised as well as on the user's general conduct in editing the article. • Boise, Idaho - There is disagreement over the pronunciation of "Boise." An anonymous user (most recently 15.235.137.72) has repeatedly changed it to read "(not incorrect local pronunciation)." This is (1) incorrect (Source) and, (2) as a native Idahoan rather offensive. I have changed it to read that both boy-see and boy-zee are correct, although I'd submit the former is much more common. According to the Talk page this is not the first time we've had this particular issue here. At any rate, this is becoming tiresome and I believe now requires a fresh set of eyes. 19:55, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

• Medieval cuisine – Talk:Medieval cuisine; I'm not posting here because of any particular disputes (even if a few feathers have been ruffled over citation standards), but rather because I would really appreciate some suggestions on how to create sub-articles. There's already a regional cuisines of medieval Europe, but other than that, I'm somewhat at a loss on how to proceed. I have plenty more info that could be included, and sections that deserve to be expanded (like "Fruit and vegetables"), but I'm holding off on that because I don't want the article to grow much larger. • Talk:Koror-Babeldaob Bridge#Rfc - This bridge collapsed in 1996 and was subsequently rebuilt. There is an edit war as to whether the fact that it was rebuilt should be mentioned in the article. 03:33, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
• Talk:Rossville, Staten Island - As part of an ongoing edit war, Philip Gronowski has been arbitrarily reverting all additions of external links to the article as "removal of spam". These external links, which had been part of the article since it's creation, are not spam, and were unjustifiably removed. One external link links to an article about the 150th anniversary of the oldest Roman Catholic Church in Staten Island, which is located in the neighborhood. Another external link links to a website created by a former resident who describes what it was like to grow up in the area before it was built up. It seems to me that this Philip Gronowski character, who has recently been resoundingly rejected in his candidacy for RfA, is not making legitimate revisions based on the rules of Misplaced Pages, but on his own interpretation of what is "spam". I'd like to request that this article be submitted for third party arbitration, as I have exhausted all attempts at a compromise with Mr. Gronowski. • Talk:Halifax,_Nova_Scotia A revert war is happening in a dispute about whether it is accurate to continue to refer to the area of or approximately coinciding with the boundaries of the City of Halifax, which became a part of the rural/urban Halifax Regional Municipality in 1996, as a city (note the lower case).
