Universal Studios Theme Park Adventure is a video game released by Kemco for the Nintendo GameCube in 2001. Set in a Universal Studios park, the object of the game it to complete several mini-games based on the real-life attractions Back to the Future: The Ride, Jaws, Jurassic Park River Adventure, E.T. Adventure, Backdraft, Wild, Wild, Wild West Stunt Show and Waterworld. There is also a Movie Quiz, in which you must answer trivia questions about Universal Studios films. The game was poorly received.
Minigames
Animation Celebration
Talk to Winnie Woodpecker who will give you the choice of games you want to play, In attraction mode, these games are available in VS. Mode.
The Universal Studios Quiz Answer Universal movie related questions. When completed, two extra games will be opened. Get all questions correct, you are rewarded with a Red Stamp.
15 Puzzle A picture puzzle game where you have to match the picture as in the top right corner as fast as possible with less amount of steps. There are 3 different settings to this game (3x3, 4x4 and 5x5).
Concentration Find and match a pair of cards within the fastest time with less amount of misses.
Back to the Future: The Ride
Biff has stolen a DeLorean Time Machine, you must get into the spare DeLorean and travel through Hill Valley in the year 2015, the ice age and the Prehistoric era to stop Biff. This minigame is the closest to original ride than any of the other minigames to their rides.
Backdraft
Enter a Factory building that is on fire with your portable fire hose and rescue the 15 people trapped in the blaze. You must complete the game within the time limit or else its game over. This minigame is the lengthiest and amusing of any of the other games.
E.T. Adventures
You, on your bike must cycle with E.T. to the spaceship in the middle of the forest avoiding the many obstructions in your path within the time limit or else it'll take off without him.
Jaws
On board the Orca, you must throw barrels at Jaws before he can cause damage to your ship. Break the small crates to get effective items such as 10x bottles, bombs or Dynamite.
Jurassic Park: the Ride
You armed with your tranquilizer gun must shoot any dinosaurs that threaten to damage your vechile until you make it safely out of the park.
The Wild Wild Wild West
Go through 3 rounds with 3 different cowboys shooting at targets that appear on the screen. You must by the end for 3 section of the round get higher points than the other player or else its Game Over. This minigame can be played in VS. mode when in Attraction Mode.
Waterworld
Not really a minigame, but you earn points for watching the showand can go on it for as much as you want (until dark).
Items
When scoring points, you can use them to get yourself a item that will get you instant access to rides or help you in the park.
E-Pass Price: 1,000pts. This can give u instant access to any ride you want to go on, but can only be used once and you can only carry one E-Pass at a time.
E.T. Cap Price: 1,500pts. Gives unlimited access to the E.T. Adventure Ride.
Cowboy Hat Price: 2,000pts. Gives unlimited access to The Wild Wild Wild West attraction.
Jaws Cap Price: 2,000pts. Gives unlimited access to the Jaws ride. There are two different versions of this cap, but only one cap is available.
BTTF Hat Price: 2,500pts. Gives unlimited access to Back to the Future: the Ride.
JP Cap Price: 3,000pts. Gives unlimited access to Jurassic Park: The Ride.
Firefighter Helmet Price: 3,500pts. Gives unlimited access to the Backdraft attraction.
T-Rex Shoes Price: 20,000pts. Increases your characters speed slightly and makes the ground shake.
Hover Board Price: 40,000pts. Doubles your speed. This item is only available in Normal or Hard mode.
