Atze Schröder is a German comedy figure played by Hubertus Albers.

According to the Atze Schröder home page, the figure "Atze Schröder" was born on September 27 1965 in the German city of Essen.

Biography of the comedian

Hubertus Albers was born in Emsdetten. In public, he always acts as his alter ego "Atze Schröder". He sued a German newspaper and Arne Klempert, CEO of Wikimedia Deutschland after they published his real name. His real name became public record in 1998, when he registered it at the German Patent and Trade Mark Office.
