It has been sold in 1⁄20, 1⁄10, 1⁄20, ¼, ½, 1, 2, and 5 ozt. Note that they are denominated in "onza" directly instead of in peso. The coins are 999‰ fine silver. On one side of the coin is an angel in front of Lover's Peaks. The opposite side shows the coat of arms of Mexico, sometimes along with the obsolete versions.
