Monthly Challenge: June Stub Review! Take a moment and sift through the roughly 3,600 Stub-class LGBT articles. Are they still stubs? If not, make an assessment change. Even better, do you see anything you can add/edit to increase the rating? Let's see if the project can lower the number of stubs down below 3,000!

Do you remember anything about the copyright of that specific image? Its currently on dr at commons - see commons:Commons:Deletion_requests/Image:Trophy.jpg, and I was hoping you might remember something about its source. Bawolff 22:06, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

Yes - it was actually a press release snapshot photograph from an NIH function. It appears that NIH has deleted the source ohot from its site. The award was part of an otherwise very busy picture, but the shot was head-on so I could cut out all the extraneous people, etc. To cover some of the jagged lines from the edit, I added a drop shadow - which look as if it has been badly cropped by some other Wiki editor. - Davodd 16:06, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
(Sorry to pop in, I have your talk on watchlist from a previous message I left you) Do you by chance remember the source page? Not necessarily the exact URL, which would be impractical, but perhaps whether the image was on a press release or some other type of page, and any other details like the date (or year) of the NIH function? Thanks, Iamunknown 17:26, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
I do know the original URL: http://www.nidcr.nih.gov/NR/rdonlyres/F52F097F-B37C-4B74-80FB-8321BDA72953/0/student2.jpg - the "NR" behind yjr ".gov/" is for news releases. But it appears they redesigned the site when they added RSS fees a few months ago. I do not remember the year, but it was more than 2 years ago. Once that happened, the obvious nature of its "public domain"-ness disappeared and then it was nominated for deletion. - Davodd 20:40, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
