While I think I have "worked" with you before, you need to realize that your constant claims that BBC doesn't support that lead are completely false. Nowhere in the BBC article is there anything close to "Some groups of devadasis have been known to become cults of prostitutes." No, the source is writes quite direct without any "culturally respectful" kind of whitewashing - "Devadasis are 'sanctified prostitutes'".
I don't understand why you are warring like this to whitewash the lead. We already discuss the "historical" devadasi in the article. I have simply made changes to reflect reality. We mention what it IS before we mention what it WAS. The Behnam 03:29, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
