His book International Economics: Theory and Policy is a standard textbook on international economics.
In addition to his academic work, Krugman has written extensively on economic and political topics for a popular audience, including several books and a weekly column in the New York Times. He has been an outspoken critic of the economic policies of the George W. Bush administration.
