Over the Hedge is a platformer video game developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Activision for the Nintendo DS handheld video game console. It is based on the movie, Over the Hedge.

The Nintendo DS version of Over the Hedge uses a different engine than the other versions of it, and is developed by a different developer.

Reception

Over the Hedge's Game Rankings average score is 75.9%. It has received good reviews, most notably from IGN (8.2/10), but it has received several poor reviews, most notably from GameSpot and Nintendo Power. Like many other movie-based games (including other Over The Hedge game versions for other platforms), many critics cited bugs, difficulty (in that it was too easy for most people older than 10) and, for all other versions, poor camera controls.

The Nintendo DS version is also the highest-rated video game based on the Over the Hedge film.
