Anthony Réveillère (born November 10, 1979 in Doué-la-Fontaine) is a football player from France. A pure product of the Stade Rennais youth academy with which he débuted professionally, he plays right-back with Olympique Lyonnais and France national team.

Trivia

Unfortunately, Réveillère's claim to European fame is his duel with A.S. Roma sensation Amantino Mancini, who performed 5 step-overs before blasting past the bewildered defender to double Roma's advantage during the UEFA Champions League last 16 round against the then French Champions. The eventual 2-0 victory for Roma was Lyon's first defeat at home in the Champions League for 5 years.

Clubs

He played his first game in French Ligue 1 championship on february 3, 1998.

He is a two-time French Ligue 1 champion with Olympique Lyonnais and played a quarter-final of UEFA Champions League 2004-05.

National team

He has five caps with the France national team. His first selection was on October 11, 2003 for a game against Israel.
