The character is an Italian speaking mouse who lives on Isola dei Topi (the Island of Mice) and works as a journalist for the fictional newspaper L'Eco del Roditore, or "The Rodent's Gazette".He has a sister named Thea Stilton and a cousin named Trap Stilton,and his favourite nephew,Benjamin,in his books.
