Aang is 112 years old and is an Airbender. Although he is 112, he was frozen in an iceberg for 100 years; therefore he looks and sounds like he's 12. He is trying to end a war that has been going on for 100 years as well as trying to learn all the elements to defeat Commander Zhao and Prince Zuko. Aang has to defeat them by summer because then a comet will come and make the fire nation win the war. With the help of his friends, Sokka and Katara, and of the former Avatar, Avatar Roku, he will be able to defeat the fire nation, which can only be defeated by an avatar.
