"No Cannes Do" is the 11th episode of the 4th season of the HBO television series Entourage.
Plot
With Anna Faris's boyfriend out of the picture, E can finally get to work with his new client, but after the manager spends more than an hour chatting on the phone with her, the guys question how much pleasure he's mixing with his business. He asks her to join him and the boys for a night out before they leave for the Cannes Film Festival the next day. Anna agrees to join them later. The guys, plus Billy and Ari, meet up for drinks. Ari is given a hard time because he invited his wife to Cannes and Vince tells him he can't do that because it's a boys trip. Ari begins to think of ways to get her un-invited. Billy spots Anna and learns that E is her new manager. He says that Anna should be in his movie but E is unsure, because he secretly does not like the script.
As the boys prepare for their trip, they learn that a code red has been declared and all flights have been delayed. Ari uses this opportunity to tell his wife it might be best for her to stay behind. While Ari fumes at the airport and tries to pacify his wife (who he booted from the trip at the last minute). With their flight delayed three hours, Walsh decides this would be a good time to ask Anna to look at his script and E calls to see if she can meet. They leave with Vince while Turtle and Drama remain at the airport to search for any suspicious activity. During the meeting, Anna appears out of her depth with Walsh's bizarre script – not to mention personality – Anna puts E in the tough position of deciding whether she should work on a movie he wishes Vince hadn't picked up in the first place.
Ari returns to the office to face off with Lloyd, who was promised he could go to Cannes if Mrs. Ari didn't go. Lloyd says that, most likely, she really isn't fine and Ari calls to check on her and finds her in the middle of purchasing a new car.
At the airport, Turtle spots a man wearing a Ghutra and is nervous about boarding a plane with him. Drama decides to go over and befriend that man; even if he is a terrorist, their courtesy will result in him having second thoughts about hijacking the plane. When the airport closes down and cancels all flights, it doesn't look like the guys will be able to make it to France in time for the 'Medellin' premiere. Ari calls his wife to let her know she can join them in Cannes, but she knows the airport is closed and is only being invited for this reason. Ari calls Lloyd to set up a flight with a private company.
The boys meet up back at the house and Anna calls E; she doesn't understand the script. Vince tells E he needs to get Anna on board. E finally admits he doesn't like it and Vince tells him to just lie, "You did it to me." E goes over to Anna's and tells her she needs to do the movie. She agrees and they sit and talk over a glass of wine. Anna is still upset over her break-up and doesn't think she will meet anyone new. Eric tells her she has nothing to worry about; he thought that their first meeting was actually a date and that she was cute. Anna tells E that she thinks he is cute too. Her honesty gets him to admit that he doesn't like Billy's script.
Ari, now fending off a Cannes-envious Lloyd in addition to talking his wife down from a punitive spending spree, arrives late to the Hollywood rush for private jets after LAX closes. The last plane was booked by Sydney Pollack. Desperate to fly his guys to Cannes, Ari calls Sydney Pollack, who is interested in meeting Vince. Syndey agrees but is only able to accomodate five of the six onto the plane. Lloyd, who hears the conversation, sullenly leaves for the day to go home and unpack.
The boys, Vince, Turtle, Drama, and Billy, finally meet up at the Van Nuys Airport with Ari. As they wait for E, Ari realizes he miscalculated and someone will need to stay behind. Turtle volunteers, since he is not directly involved with Medellin. Vince decides it's all or nothing and passes on the flight. E finally shows up and tells the guys that, because of conflicting interests, Anna fired him. As the boys turn to head out of the terminal, Kanye West arrives and greets Turtle. He is heading to London for the weekend. Turtle asks if he has any space on his plane and Kayne points outside to his 727. Ari asks if he could do them a huge favor and drop them off in Cannes. Kayne turns to a member of his own entourage and asks who he knows that will be in Cannes, to which his friend replies "Everybody." Kanye decides to go to Cannes and - Voila!- the guys all head outside. Before boarding, Ari calls his wife to apologize and tell her the truth: he wanted to go with the boys and feel young again. Pleased with his honesty, and surrounded by a room full of designer purchases, Mrs. Ari tells him she forgives him and to enjoy his trip with the boys. On board, Kanye announces that, even if it is illegal and has no training, he will be flying the plane off the runway. The guys sit, stunned, as Kanye emerges and exclaims that he is only kidding. Everyone laughs as they get served refreshments by attractive flight attendants before taking off.
