WikiProject NASCAR

Easy. Just add your name at the "Members" section of this page. After that, read the to/do list, standards, discussion, etc., and see what kind of magic you can work with our articles. Let me know if you need anything! --D-Day) 17:44, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

Auggie Vidovich

Hi Tech.

Here are some links you'll find useful.

  1. Racing Reference
  2. Auggie's Website
  3. RacingWest
  4. Busch Series Press Release

When you're done, remove the construction tag I placed there for you. (Don't want it to be speedied) and add appropriate categories. If the article is still only a few sentences long, be sure to add a stub template (like {{NASCAR-stub}}. Be sure to state his notablity as well. I think you've taken care of that pretty well, but with Spencer Clark being listed for deletion, you can't be too careful. Let me know how everything turns out. --D-Day 20:00, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

And to move a page, click the "move" tab, type in the new title and explain why in the appropriate boxes, click "move page" and you're done! --D-Day 20:53, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

moving

I was away during the weekend. Do you still have problems moving the page Why isn-t the move button working for you?

WikiProject NASCAR proposed standards

WikiProject NASCAR needs your help! We are in the process of forming our proposed standards which, when complete, will hopefully become a Misplaced Pages guideline. The guidelines will help editors understand Misplaced Pages consensus about things like which NASCAR-related articles meet notability standards. Please stop by and let us know what you think! Eel River Racing

The easiest way to figure out the categories, etc. is to go to an article about a simular topic, and copy it! I went to DEI and copied the categories. As for expanding the article, I'll let you have fun with it. I like to google "Eel River Racing" and use the solid references that come up. You have already added the main data. There is a bot that watches all new articles. I coordinated setting up a list of the NASCAR articles with the bot's owner (User:AlexNewArtBot/NASCARSearchResult). The article came up on the list.
