Undertow is a collective of musicians, artists, and managers who share resources and ideas. Undertow started in 1996 in Saint Louis, MO.

The collective grew into a record label, recording studio, artist management, design house, and on-line store.

Undertow now operates offices in Saint Louis, MO, Champaign, IL, Los Angeles, CA, Boston, MA, Nashville, TN, Portland, OR, and London UK. Each office is independently operated by members of the collective.

Undertow is Bob Andrews, Molly Chance, Chris Grabau, Adam Klavohn, Jeff Macklin, Chris Metzler, Caleb Palma, and Mark Ray.

The label has released albums by Nadine, Waterloo, Magnolia Summer, Jay Bennett, South San Gabriel, Will Johnson, The Redwalls, Milton Mapes, Monahans, Artificial Hearts, Christian Kiefer, The Love Experts.

Undertow provides world-wide management for American Music Club, David Bazan, Bottle Rockets, Centro-matic, Will Johnson, South San Gabriel, Caleb Engstrom, Mark Eitzel, Anders Parker, Damien Jurado, Pedro The Lion, Headphones, Aaron Robinson, Glossary, Steve Dawson, Dolly Varden.
