The Glock 28 is a pistol manufactured by Glock. It is a Glock 26 modified to fire the .380 ACP ammunition. It uses a modified slide, frame, .380 ACP barrel and magazine but is otherwise nearly identical in looks to the Glock 26. It has a magazine capacity of 12 rounds . The Glock 28 is a blowback pistol; there is no barrel lockup mechanism, as the .380 ACP ammunition does not require this.
It is not typically available in the United States for civilian use due to BATFE import restrictions; however, if imported by a military or law enforcement agency, the Glock 28 can be resold to civilians. This makes the pistol (and its larger counterpart, the Glock 25) extremely rare, and popular with collectors.
