The Fairfield Arts and Convention Center is a 32,000 square-foot performing arts, convention and meeting, visual arts, and arts education facility, located at Briggs and Main Streets in downtown Fairfield, Iowa. The complex includes a 524 seat proscenium theatre, business pavilion, meeting rooms, executive conference suite, art gallery and classroom, informal performance areas, commercial kitchen, administrative support space, and an outdoor plaza. The Convention Center features 7,700 square feet of exhibit space, along with an additional 5,000 square feet of meeting space, two meeting rooms and an executive conference suite.

The Center opened December 7-10, 2007, and includes the Stephen Sondheim Center for Performing Arts, which is the first one in the world named after Stephen Sondheim.
