He has been playing for Malmö FF, except for 2004 when he was borrowed by Halmstads BK. Playing for Halmstad he became the top scorer of the 2004 season.
From of the beginning of the 2005/2006 season he is a player for Ajax Amsterdam. He was transferred for a fee somewhere around 5 million Euros.
