Tow huay, tau huay, is Hokkien for soya. It is known as tow foo fah in Cantonese and dou hua (豆花) in Mandarin. It is commonly eaten as a snack or dessert in Singapore and Malaysia. It consists of soft tofu sweetened by syrup. Often, it is eaten with gingko seeds which would be added and suspended in the syrup.
